Death of the Full-Time Job

An interesting article by David Kinkade, published on the FreeEnterprise.com website.

With his second-term agenda stalling, President Obama is set to deliver a series of speeches “to focus public attention on the American economy, a strategy aimed at giving him credit for the improving job market,” according to the New York Times.

But one change in the job market the president probably doesn’t want to accept credit for is the exploding number of part-time workers in the American workforce—a dynamic that poses a serious challenge to the strength of the economic recovery.
